“Don’t Disappoint Your Grandma” is a short film we co-wrote as a heartfelt tribute to language, memory, and the quiet power of intergenerational love. Commissioned as an initiative by Pomegranate Institute in Dubai, the film explores the importance of learning your mother tongue — especially for those of us growing up or raising children in immigrant communities.
In collaboration with my life and work partner Tina Karakalla, we developed the branding and overall identity of Bahu. This project went beyond standard branding—it was about creating a holistic experience that captures the restaurant’s ethos through visual identity and storytelling.
In a world where conflict disrupts even the simplest routines, education becomes a daily battle for many children. In Palestine, two young students face overwhelming challenges just to reach their school, navigating an environment filled with uncertainty and fear. Their journey is not just a physical one—it is an emotional and psychological struggle, marked by distressing encounters that manifest as nightmares long after the school day ends.
Despite advancements in gender equality, progress has stagnated over the past decade. 9 out of 10 people worldwide still hold fundamental biases against women, influencing policies, economies, and daily interactions. The 2023 Gender Social Norms Index (GSNI) by UNDP sheds light on these biases, examining four key dimensions: education, politics, economics, and physical integrity.
The Association of International Development Agencies (AIDA) plays a crucial role in coordinating humanitarian and development efforts in Palestine. When tasked with revitalizing AIDA’s brand identity, I faced a unique challenge: preserving the essence of the existing brand while modernizing its visual identity to align with the organization’s evolving mission.
As part of an expert team, I played a key role in the founding and branding of the Abu Dhabi Film Commission (ADFC) under the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture & Heritage. Our mission was to position Abu Dhabi as a leading destination for global film production, attracting international filmmakers while nurturing local talent. This involved crafting a strong brand identity, marketing strategy, and industry partnerships to establish Abu Dhabi on the cinematic world map.

Let’s make your vision a reality!

Rami Touma – Creative Consultant, Storyteller & Strategic Thinker

I am a creative consultant who approaches every challenge with deep curiosity, a strategic mindset, and an unwavering commitment to authenticity. My work goes beyond aesthetics—it’s about crafting narratives, building brands, and helping businesses and organizations articulate their purpose in a way that truly resonates.

For me, creativity is never just about execution. It’s about asking the right questions and uncovering the deeper reasons behind a project. Why does a brand need to reposition itself? Why isn’t a message landing? Why are people connecting—or failing to connect—with a product or idea? These critical inquiries drive my work, ensuring that every creative decision is backed by strategy and insight.

A Journey Across Industries & Ideas

Over the years, I have led and contributed to diverse, high-impact projects across multiple industries, from finance and technology to humanitarian storytelling, hospitality, education, and luxury branding. I have worked on:

  • Branding & Rebranding Initiatives – Helping companies and organizations redefine their identity, ensuring their story aligns with their mission and market.
  • Creative Campaigns & Content Marketing – Crafting compelling narratives that connect brands with their audiences in authentic and innovative ways.
  • User-Centered Digital Experiences – Designing and shaping websites, platforms, and portals that don’t just look good but function seamlessly for users.
  • Cultural & Humanitarian Storytelling – Bringing to light untold stories through media, civil society initiatives, and independent journalism.
  • Luxury & Lifestyle Branding – Creating experiences that merge sophistication with storytelling, from high-end hospitality to artisanal craftsmanship.

Each project is a puzzle to be solved, and I thrive on finding the most impactful, intelligent, and creative solutions—ones that don’t just meet expectations but redefine them.

My Creative Philosophy & Approach

At the core of my work is a belief in co-creation. I don’t believe in imposing solutions from the outside; instead, I collaborate with clients, guiding them through a process that ensures their brand, message, or product emerges stronger, sharper, and more meaningful.

Deeply connected to both global and regional creative landscapes, I bring a multicultural perspective to my work, ensuring that ideas transcend borders and resonate across different audiences.

For me, the creative journey is not about finding quick fixes—it’s about uncovering the real story, the right strategy, and the best way to bring them to life.
